Return: 7:45 pm Knoxdale / 8:15 pm Rideau Park

PRICE: $110.00* pp.The price includes transportation, tour admission, lunch and treats on the bus.
(*We will be stopping at an On-Route for a dinner break on the return trip, cost will be at travelers expense.)

The Ottawa Women's Canadian Club is pleased to announce plans for a day tour on Wednesday October 4, 2017. This tour is open to members and their guests.

This fall, enjoy a drive to Gananoque to visit The Thousand Islands. We will first enjoy a one hour Beauty of the Island Cruise. The First Nations People knew this beautiful collection of islands as Manitoana or the "Garden of the Great Spirit". See fifth and sixth generation family cottages. Cruise the narrow channels of the Admiralty and Navy group of islands. We will then enjoy lunch at the Island Memories Restaurant. After lunch, we will attend a matinee show of "The Birds and the Bees", a romantic comedy with a bit of buzz.

There will be two-pick up points. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure:

East Area - Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive (Back parking lot)

  • departure time 7:30 am (return 8:15 pm)

West Area - Knox United Church, 25 Gibbard Avenue, Nepean

  • - departure time 8:00 am (return 7:45 pm)
